My aim in visiting the website was to find information on branch meetings. I was unsuccessful. Such information, mundane as it may be, will be a valuable asset in attracting, maintaining and, one hopes, boosting attendance at meetings. Another oversight relates to The Pharmaceutical Journal. Although details of a number of useful contacts are given, the name of Olivia Timbs, the PJ's editor, was absent. Since The Journal is the first point of contact between the Society and the membership, I would have thought that her name would be as least as important as a long list of names of Council members, each of which was accompanied by a photograph. I hope that the Society's site will be enhanced so that it will be worth revisiting in the future. Equipment required. Muscle, bone and joint discomfort may be noticed in your back, shoulders and ribs. This discomfort varies from patient to patient. You may feel a dull ache or possibly a sharper sensation. Discomfort may be noticed with increased movement or when touched. The discomfort should decrease with time. If you have a history of arthritis before surgery and are taking medication for arthritis, remind your surgeon or home care nurse. The surgeon nurse can make sure you have a prescription for your medication after your surgery. This will help to decrease your discomfort and help with your recovery.

HRQoL was better for the PEG + RBV group than for the IFN + RBV group at week 2 on all scales, at week 12 on six SF-36 domains and the FSS, and at weeks 24 and 48 on all scores.
